Documenting the lives of the Atayals living in the Smangus tribe in Taiwan. After decades of living in the city working blue labor jobs, young Atayla families are returning back to their homeland. Making a living out of organic farming and selling their products online. At the same time, develop sustainable tourism, operating guesthouse and hiking tours in the thousand year old forest.
Kuang-chuan Non-profit organization had worked closely with the village. Other than rebuild the elementary school library, they also transfer an abandoned cabin into a Atayla Culture Center. A collaboration with the tribe to bring back their culture.
