grandma's secret garden

September 08, 2013 in taiwan
IMG_5417.jpg

the other day at my great-grandma's 96th bday party, a bunch of aunts and uncles were complaining about the rising price for vegetables cause by the endless typhoon in taiwan this summer.

my grandma's little sister who retired about ten years ago and fill up her day by volunteering at hospitals, temples or public libraries. It turns out that she even have time for farming! She had this little garden not far from her house. That afternoon, she took us there and show us around and of course give us free organic vegetables :)
